Drone Division
Drones at FCHS
Aviation is a constantly evolving field, particularly unmanned aviation. The Drones Division at Fort Collins High School is dedicated to exploring all aspects of this field and providing students with the opportunity to fulfill their interests. We are comprised of the drones club and the drone class, and learn about building and flying drones along with FAA rules.
The Fort Collins High School drone division is composed of a group of diverse individuals. We are programmers, builders, drone fliers, photographers, graphic designers, and more!
Our mission is to explore and share drone technology with others, starting in Colorado and ending with the world. We are designing and building the drone competition and beginning to reach out to other schools and companies.
The FCHS drones club was recently absorbed into SkillsUSA, a national nonprofit devoted to training the next generation of skilled workers.
